We continue to be busy on several fronts. We continue to work with P1 Construction, who have secured a major contract. The contract marks a step change in the business. We are currently advising on a share transaction by a social media business. Meanwhile the personal guarantee claims continue to arrive on our desks.

We are seeing a significant rise in the number of personal guarantee claims coming to us. There is no doubt that in many cases directors had no idea they were making a personal commitment when they signed the relevant loan agreements. It is vital that directors facing personal guarantee claims take advice at the earliest possible stage.

Another year gets underway with a lot of activity. Asertis continues to grow in size and reputation. P1 Construction has undertaken further major projects. We continue to see an inflow of personal guarantee and other issues where directors need our help. Sad news that January saw the funeral of our late colleague Tony Armitage, a truly outstanding professional.
